Websites
Those interested in my thoughts have several avenues to explore what, apart from the Bible, has shaped my perspective. These include the Readings and Viewing segments of this website, as well as other websites mentioned below. It’s worth reiterating that while I generally recommend each of these resources, readers should critically evaluate the specific content they encounter. Just as not everyone will align with my views on everything, the same applies to these websites; readers should carefully consider the information they read.
Since the early 1970’s, former atheist and science teacher John N. Clayton has generously provided free apologetic materials for those genuinely interested in understanding science as it relates to the Bible. One of his periodicals highlights Dandy Designs, specific features of our natural world that question Darwinian explanations of evolution and natural selection. Clayton’s courses, resources, and website offer excellent tools for those with questions on this topic.
Edward William Fudge (1944-2017) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Fudge, whose written works and his approachable demeanor at the Pepperdine Bible Lectures, deeply influenced and captivated me with his short gracEmail articles. His research and conclusions on various topics, particularly conditional immortality (as explored at https://rethinkinghell.com/), left a lasting impression on me. His wife and ministry partner, Sara Faye, supported him throughout his challenging career, contributing greatly behind the scenes to his prolific writings. In my opinion, these writings stand as valuable contributions to our understanding of the subject matter.

Since 2003, Church of Christ minister and elder Al Maxey, based in Alamogordo, NM, has been sharing his biblical insights in a series called “Reflections” with his subscribers. These insightful articles are indexed and searchable by topic or biblical text, allowing readers to delve deeply into specific subjects. Additionally, readers have the opportunity to express their thoughts and engage in respectful discussions, even if they may have differing viewpoints, as reader comments are posted at the end of each issue. While the frequency of these reflections has decreased recently, Al has consistently encouraged me through extended email conversations over the past few years. Even though we may have respectfully disagreed on some issues, our fundamental agreement on the core principles of Scripture has remained consistent.
